Krushuna waterfalls

Krushuna waterfalls are a series of waterfalls near the village of Krushuna, Municipality of Letnitsa, North Bulgaria. They are located 6 km away from the town of Letnitsa and are famous for their picturesque surroundings. The waterfalls are a long travertine (bison) cascade, the individual steps of which are the waterfalls themselves. The hiking trail starts about half a kilometer south of the village and is reached by a road around which there are parking opportunities. The hiking trail winds up against the river and eventually reaches the first and largest waterfall of the cascade – the Splash and the cave from which the river flows. There are many bridges that allow tourists to explore the area.
